17th Jan, 2005. New Orleans, Louisiana. School re-opening. Teachers greet children returning to Lusher Charter School in uptown New Orleans on their first day back since Hurricane Katrina. The school suffered $2 million in damages and has been repaired and returned to service with the help of contractors and parents who have worked tirelessly to re-open the facility to students.
