17th Jan, 2005. New Orleans, Louisiana. School re-opening. 3rd grade children in class at Lusher Charter School in uptown New Orleans on their first day back since Hurricane Katrina. L/R Kieth James (8 yrs) and his friend Jonathan Sedlacek (9 yrs) work on their first day project together. The school suffered $2 million in damages and has been repaired and returned to service with the help of contractors and parents who have worked tirelessly to re-open the facility to students.
