19th Feb, 2006. New Orleans, Louisiana. First came the floods, now the fires. All that remains of a smouldering home in the Marigny neighbourhood. The owner of the house, just out of frame is being comforted by a member of the Red Cross who is trying to find him a home for the night. The home owner had given shelter to a lady who has not been found, however her remains were not in the house. She disappeared, perhaps after setting the fire? The lone dog may have once lived at the house, as he appeared from nowhere, walked up to the steps and moved on. Graffiti spray painted on the now charred wall suggests a dog once lived at the house.
