22nd Feb, 2006. New Orleans, Louisiana. The River Walk Mall, heavily looted and damaged during hurricane Katrina remains virtually empty, despite some stores having returned and Mardi Gras upon the city. many of the typical mall chain stores have yet to rebuild, restock and re-staff their shops.
