 My first national front page photograph appeared on The Daily Express in Britain on Feb 25th, 1994. with just a glimpse of the snatched baby visible, days old Charlie Whelan was returned unhurt to his mother at the Royal United Hospital in Bath, England. It had been a hectic day where no one had much of an idea of anything that was going on. Myself and a colleague from South West News Agency were so new on the patch, we didn't even know how to find the hospital! |
